Winter Family Day Checklist:

1. Plan lunch and dinner ahead to make things quick and easy. Use a crockpot or instant pot for convenience, or plan almost home-made. Think sandwiches and your favorite canned soup for lunch, and a kid-friendly dinner of steamed hotdogs, baked beans and brown bread.
   
2. Have the kids create a poster (drawn, colored, or painted) of what winter is to them. Their creativity is part of the fun and could guide your toward the crafts they will enjoy the most.
